Membership in BACU is open to anyone who lives or works in the Illinois counties of Carroll, JoDaviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson and Whiteside. In addition family members of current members are eligible for membership no matter where they live. "Family members" include spouses, parents, grandparents, children and legal dependents, brothers, sisters and their spouses, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and sons- and daughters-in-law.
There is a $1.00 membership fee to join BACU. We also require a deposit of at least $25.00 ($5.00 if you're under the age of 25) in your savings account. That money is yours, and may be withdrawn should you close your membership at BACU. Once you've opened your savings account, you're eligible to take advantage of our many financial services.
